Sam McKenzie shares a story of how she became inspired by the Feathers of Hope, an
Indigenous youth led initiative to create a space of Indigenous voices to the communities they
live in. Sam transpired to be a good role model for her community of Mattagami in
volunteering community events, getting involved with youth, and using Feathers of Hope as a
backbone of her learning journey.
